These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Gott mobile application (the “App”) provided by Tim Johansson (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Gott is an iOS application that lets you create grocery lists, organize items, and share lists with other users for collaboration. We may update, improve, or change features of the App from time to time.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using the App, you represent that you meet these requirements.
To use most features of the App you need to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at tim.johansson5@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
You retain ownership of the lists, items, notes, and other content you create in the App (“Your Content”). By using the App, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, display, and otherwise process Your Content solely as necessary to operate the App and provide the service to you and to anyone you choose to share lists with.
You are solely responsible for Your Content and for ensuring that you have the right to share it.
You agree not to:
impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms.
The App lets you share lists with other users. When you share a list, the people you invite can see and modify the shared content according to the permissions you grant. You are responsible for choosing who you share with. We are not responsible for actions taken by other users on shared content.
If you opt in, the App may send you push notifications, for example when collaborators update a shared list. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
The App relies on third-party services to operate, including Apple (App Store, iOS, APNs) and Supabase (backend, authentication, database, storage). Your use of those services is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
The App is currently provided free of charge. If we introduce paid features in the future, we will give you clear notice and the option to choose whether to use them.
The App, including its name, logo, design, code, and other materials we provide, is owned by Tim Johansson and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted to you.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any data will not be lost. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties.
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights under mandatory Swedish or EU law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will Tim Johansson be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App. Our total cumulative liability arising out of or relating to the App or these Terms will not exceed one hundred Swedish kronor (100 SEK) or, if greater, the amount you have paid us for the App in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
This section does not exclude or limit liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (such as liability for gross negligence, intent, or personal injury).
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the App. On termination, your right to use the App ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you through the App. Your continued use of the App after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the App will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swedish courts, with the District Court of Stockholm (Stockholms tingsrätt) as the court of first instance. If you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the EU/EEA country where you reside.
